Our core purpose is to deliver event excellence.
Ready to take total ownership of some of the UK’s most iconic, large-scale live events? As a Projects Director at LS Events, you won’t just be overseeing from the sidelines—you will be the ultimate champion of your assigned projects. You will take the helm of dedicated project and operational teams, acting as the driving force that translates big-picture strategy into jaw-dropping, flawless execution on the ground.
While you'll collaborate closely with our Senior Leadership Team to align with the company's broader vision, your day-to-day focus will be on leadership and delivery. From mastering complex event compliance and navigating SAGs, to controlling multi-million-pound budgets and nurturing client relationships, you are the person who makes the magic happen. This is a heavy-hitting senior role where you have the autonomy to make critical decisions, drive operational excellence, and directly shape the success of massive live experiences.
Applicants should have:
Proven Senior Level Experience: Extensive experience in an executive or senior management role leading, coaching, and empowering large project and operational teams.
Portfolio Expertise: A proven track record of overseeing multiple complex, high-value projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to an exceptional standard.
Large-Scale Outdoor Expertise: You have a proven track record of delivering massive, complex outdoor events (we're talking capacities of 20k+), both in the UK and internationally.
Exemplary Leadership Traits: Deep self-awareness, strong emotional intelligence, and empathy. You are an agile leader who excels at delegation, conflict resolution, and influencing positive outcomes.
Values-Driven Approach: A professional ethos that naturally aligns with and champions our core values of trust, respect, and integrity.
Commercial & Financial Acumen: Strong experience in budgetary planning, expense tracking, and working with senior leadership to develop project fee plans that hit financial targets.
Superb Communication Skills: The ability to build nurturing, robust relationships with high-level clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, maintaining open dialogue for troubleshooting and escalations.
Industry Compliance Savvy: You have a solid grasp of CDM regulations and are completely at home navigating Safety Advisory Group (SAG) deliverables and engagement.
We want someone who brings a great energy to the team and naturally ticks these boxes:
A Natural People Champion: You’re an empowering mentor who loves to coach teams to their full potential, creating a collaborative, high-performing environment where constructive feedback helps everyone grow.
A Cool Head in a Crisis: You have a knack for strategic troubleshooting and conflict resolution, always maintaining a positive, solution-oriented working environment.
An Eye for Innovation: You’re naturally curious and forward-thinking, always on the lookout for new technologies, systems, and modern work methods to elevate what we offer.
A Relationship Builder: You genuinely enjoy nurturing senior client relationships, exceeding expectations, and representing our brand values with pride.
A Continuous Improver: You don't just follow policies and protocols; you love optimising them. You use data and project debriefs to figure out what worked, what didn't, and how we can do it even better next time.
A Master Resource Optimiser: You can effortlessly balance staffing requirements across projects while keeping an eye on smart vendor procurement and favorable negotiations.
A Confident Change-Maker: You’re not afraid to challenge existing practices and processes. You actively look for ways to shake up old habits to continually improve our events and projects.
Tech-Literacy: You aren't just about big-picture strategy; you're comfortable enough with software like Vectorworks/CAD to read, understand, and tweak site plans when needed.
